Phantom Empire”, based on the comic strip by Chester Gould. Huge 3-sheet poster measures 79″ x 41″ and comes in 2 sections to be assembled at the theater, with a 27″ x 41″ top panel and a 53″ x 41″ lower panel (allowing a 1″ overlap for alignment). Poster bears NSS # R52/9806-43731, and like all vintage bills it was originally folded in eighths for shipping to theaters. This 69 year-old lobby display is fragile but appears unused, with bright colors and sharp graphics to promote the adventures of popular comic-strip detective Dick Tracy.
