20th Century Fox Original U.S. Six Sheet Poster for the Leo McCarey directed romantic classic AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER (81X81). This poster was used in a theater, and stored folded for seventy years. We have unfolded it and presenting it for sale. The film starred Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr, Richard Denning, Cathleen Nesbitt, Walter Woolf King and Charles Watts. It is, without any qualification, one of the great tear-jerkers of all time. But actually this was the second time that McCarey had made this story. The first time was in 1939 when he paired Irene Dunne and Charles Boyer in the same story. But it was this CinemaScope, Color By Deluxe, stereo version of 1957 that is considered the most memorable. A couple meet, fall in love, must part, agree to meet again in another year. And if they feel the same, they will spend their life together. No spoliers here, but life intervenes.
